This Frame and Truss factory used Prolam laminated timber to form portals with a massive 25m clear span.

Prolam worked closely alongside Tasman consulting engineers, who designed the structure - helping to suggest which products would be suitable for the build.

This collaboration resulted in an impressive project at a competitive price, showcasing engineered timber as a more sustainable, renewable building material that is less energy intensive to manufacture and build with than other construction resources.

Roger Prestige Builders commented: “This building was very interesting to build. With no steel structure it went together very quickly and I would definitely build another building using Prolam.”
