As Prolam has grown so has the team. But many have been with the company from its early days and helped it become a knowledge bank in treated and glulam timber.
Whether it’s in the office, the factory or on site, Prolam staff have the “know-how” to manage any laminated project, anywhere.
Emmerson joined Prolam in November 2017. He is a fresh face in the sales department, currently working as a sales assistant. Emmerson is keen to support the sales team at Prolam and hopes to move into a sales representative role in the future.
Key Account Manager
Reuben joined the Prowood Team in April 2018. Coming from another company in the timber industry, he adds his valuable experience and knowledge to the Team.
Reuben loves a challenge and is passionate about providing innovative solutions for our customer’s needs.
Chloe became a part of the Prolam team in July 2017. Jumping straight into the upbeat schedule at our Little Sydney Valley site Chloe’s role now covers customer service, administration and inwards and outwards timber. She has become a huge value to Prolam overseeing daily administration for this site.
Chloe is excited to see the growth of our organization and she’s looking forward for more years being part of it.
John started Prolam in 2002 after spending the first 18 years of his working life at Motueka Lumber as their Operations manager. John has the vision and inspiration that has caused Prolam to evolve with the times and the years, and become the preferred supplier of laminated timber throughout New Zealand.
Carlton joined the team at Prolam in November 2016 as Sales and development role. He has 11 years’ experience in the timber industry involving laminating, manufacturing furniture, constructing pole sheds and delights in creating ways to work smarter not harder. Carlton is proud of Prolam’s commitment to provide premium product and service to the market.
Key Account Manager and Technical Support
Owen has been an integral part of the Prowood Team since 2009, brining valuable knowledge from many years involvement in the Civil construction and Building Industry. Beginning as Factory Manager for 5 years, then working into sales and Technical support, Owen has a comprehensive knowledge of the Laminating process, and engineered product applications.
Tiffany recently joined the Prolam team taking on the role of customer service. She is willing to support customers that have any enquires or concerns, and solve any issues. ‘ Prolam strives to understand the needs of their customers’
Ruth has recently joined the Prowood team and has stepped in with the costumer service team, she also helps manage the day to day process of dispatch. People find her to be an upbeat, self-motivated, and dedicated to achieving goals in a timely manner. Ruth is very excited to be a part of rapidly growing organization and looking forward for more years with this stable company.
Admin / Customer Service
Justine became part of the Prolam NZ team early 2012 as customer service and has taken a role of Accounts Receivable. She is enjoying working with the crew contributing to the continual developments at Prolam, and hoping to move towards a marketing role. Justine is excited to be part of the rising construction industry.
Systems / IT
Saydee started out with Prolam in customer service and administration, since moved into systems and IT following her strengths and passion. Prolam are progressing into some exciting new automated systems, which Saydee will help set up and implement, to advance our business.
Accounts & Production
Rachel joined Prolam in 2012 after being head hunted by her brother John, director of Prolam. Rachel previously spent 13 years in the industry at Southwood Milling. Rachel manages many roles at Prolam, most important production planning. She is looking forward to the automation of the production planning system which will add many benefits to Prolam staff and customers alike.
