Prolam Glulam Formwork Boards

Prolam formwork manufactured to AS/NZS 1328, and is manufactured from Douglas fir offering superior strength, stability, stiffness and decay resistance. As a refractory species, Douglas Fir resists wetting, with natural ability. Proform will withstand decay for longer. It also reduces the risk of cupping due to shrinkage by wetting and drying.

All timber used for laminating is carefully selected for production and graded according to strict Prowood specifications. All timber stock is kiln dried, to 13% average moisture content, to ensure efficient bonding in the gluing operations.


Prolam laminated douglas fir Formwork relies on the species inherent refractory properties to give it it’s longevity. To increase it’s life alternate the surface against the concrete, and always stack on level bearers when not in use.

Prolam laminated formwork can be used in all formwork applications, a sealer coat is recommended to stop concrete sticking to it, and increase it’s performance.
